When Randy Bautista thought about homeownership, he feared having a huge mortgage that left little for any other expenses.

“Honestly, I wasn’t looking to buy,” said Randy, who is an institutional research analyst at the University of California, Irvine. “But then it became a possibility, and it just kind of snowballed from there.”

When it came to home shopping, the most important thing to Randy was location. He 100% wanted to be in Long Beach.

Soon enough, he was shopping for homes with his real estate agent and working through a list of homes to see. It was the last one on the list that seemed just right.
“I just knew it when I saw it,” he said of the two-bedroom, two-bath condo with an updated kitchen, cathedral ceilings, walk-in closet, and a balcony that overlooks a quiet, tree-lined street. “I put an offer in right away.”
Now in his new home, he’s finding himself to be more of a homebody, and enjoying making small updates (like painting) and planning bigger ones (new flooring).

“I’m just really enjoying making it my own,” he said. “I never want to leave home now. I just love being in the space, and having people over.”
And he’s already recommended Landed to a co-worker and is eager to say more...
“It’s been such a pleasure working with Landed,” he said. “Everybody was really responsive. If I had any questions they were answered quickly. They did everything, in terms of keeping me updated.”
