We're in this together.
Impact recruiting, retention, and diversity through homeownership made possible by shared equity down payment funds up to $120-150k (depending on region).
After receiving homebuying support, Landed homebuyers commit to staying with their current employer for at least 2 years. Your community needs your people. Help them stay there with Landed.
We work with over 250 hospitals, universities, and major employers across the nation. Landed is on a mission to help professionals in the fields of education, healthcare, and government build financial security near the communities they serve.
Landed is committed to increasing the opportunity to access homeownership for people from all walks of life. The essential professionals we've supported with our down payment program are more likely to be people of color, helping employers
Landed’s down payment program (DPP) provides funds that are considered eligible under the requirements of the Fannie Mae Community Seconds program. The DPP provides homebuyers with up to $120,000 towards a down payment as a shared equity investment. This is not a loan, so there is no interest rate. Instead, Landed shares in a percentage of the long-term appreciation or depreciation in the home's value. For example, if Landed provides half of the down payment (10% of the home value), the homebuyer will share in 25% of the appreciation/depreciation in home value upon exit. No, our program is financed by large philanthropic and institutional investors who believe in Landed's mission. There is no cost to the employer in providing Landed's down payment program and homebuying services to employees.

No, there is no contract or MOU needed. Landed simply asks that employers commit to sharing out Landed resources with employees through an awareness partnership.
In addition to Landed's down payment program, Landed provides a personalized team that includes a partner agent and a Landed homebuying lead. We also offer free homebuyer educational resources and comprehensive reviews of property reports to help at any stage of the homebuying journey.
Landed asks partner employers to first share a "launch" announcement in the form of an informational email to all employees with links to sign-up for virtual information sessions to learn more. After a launch happens, we ask that employers share information with their employees three times per year. We can also provide materials – such as flyers, website content, and social media graphics – that can be incorporated into recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and any ongoing employee wellness programs as employers see fit.
Tell us a little about yourself and your organization, and our partnerships team will be in touch with next steps.
